
Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) is Florida’s statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate, and equip Florida youth to revolt against tobacco use. It is a united movement of empowered youth working towards a tobacco-free future.
SWAT is designed to create a youth-led, youth-driven club that will work toward prevention of tobacco use and addiction in local schools and communities.
To join SWAT, you must be 11 – 17 years old or be in 6th – 12th grade, obtain parent consent to register, complete the registration, and have reliable transportation to the SWAT county chapter meets and events. Clubs meet once monthly during lunch at COAST Charter, Riversprings Middle, Wakulla Middle, and Wakulla High.
