School Health 

Each school has a nursing office staffed by a Health Support Aide, LPN, or RN. There is one registered nurse who is responsible for all school health coordination. School Health services may include:
  • Nursing Assessment and first aid for illness or injury
  • Control of communicable disease
  • Review and daily administration of medication
  • Review of immunization compliance and health status of new enrollees
  • Monitoring of students with chronic disease and development of individual care plans
  • Health Education for students, faculty and staff
  • Dental services are available by referral
Immunizations are required for school attendance. For specifics please review the School Entry Requirements, then call 850-926-0400 to schedule an appointment. More information can be found on the Wakulla County School District website
