School Health
Each school has a nursing office staffed by a Health Support Aide, LPN, or RN. There is one registered nurse who is responsible for all school health coordination. School Health services may include:- Nursing Assessment and first aid for illness or injury
- Control of communicable disease
- Review and daily administration of medication
- Review of immunization compliance and health status of new enrollees
- Monitoring of students with chronic disease and development of individual care plans
- Health Education for students, faculty and staff
- Dental services are available by referral
