School Health

Each school has a nursing office staffed by a Health Support Aide, LPN, or RN. There is one registered nurse who is responsible for all school health coordination. School Health services may include:

Nursing Assessment and first aid for illness or injury
Control of communicable disease
Review and daily administration of medication
Review of immunization compliance and health status of new enrollees
Monitoring of students with chronic disease and development of individual care plans
Health Education for students, faculty and staff
Dental services are available by referral
